murmeln des wassers
How can the complexity of the Oder landscape be represented—in the broadest sense: its historical events such as floods and land reclamations, political negotiations, and the transience of nature?
The photo series "murmeln des wassers" explores how the river motif that has been extensively documented and repeatedly reproduced in different medias can be reimagined beyond established visual frames. To do so, various representations of the Oder landscape are collected and brought together in an archival piece of furniture, where they are reinterpreted in a playful way.
