murmeln des wassers
How can the complexity of the Oder landscape be portrayed — its disasters, political negotiations, and the transience of nature? The photo series 'murmeln des wassers' explores how the river landscape, documented countless times, can be rethought beyond established pictorial motifs? Newspaper clippings, anonymous photographs, maps, and architectural miniatures that tell of drainage and flood disasters are collected and brought together in an archival piece of furniture, playfully reinterpreted.
